The national regulatory authority in Hong Kong, The Office of Communications Authority (OFCA), is following numerous other regulators globally in restricting the use of local CLIs over international routes. This means that any call originating from a Hong Kong number to another Hong Kong number must pass over national routes. Calls coming in over international/ILD routes carrying Hong Kong number may be blocked, following these new restrictions.
